Teen Business

      Books change lives indeed. Not merely the reading or writing of one but even the designing and editing of it.

The opportunity to design and edit a series of books written and illustrated by the late artist Lyn Tetelman came to me at another transformational time on this unschooling journey with my only child.


Here are a few bullet points to give you a succinct overview -

* The Teen turned 16 this January 2025.

* Around the same time I had finally reached the clarity to commit to complete a small book of my own .

And

And

For heaven's sake this time follow through and publish it.

(30 years of writing nearly 20 books and only 1 had seen the light of day).

I had promised my inner child that.

* The Teen had just then completed a course in fashion modeling and was clear about his goals.

* In 2024 the teen has completed his A levels through the open schooling board - NIOS India. And this year getting ready for his O levels.

* Learning about work ethics and committing to professional projects were on the table for this single mother family of teen and dog. (in my case projects are mostly always creative)...

* The inquiry to design and edit Lyn Tetelman's books came from her daughter in law, Delia Tetelman through a fellow unschooling mother in my Indian group.

* The timing seemed magical - serendipity in flow.

It came at a time when I completed by book of illustrated shortest stories purely to save my self from going insane, after
